mnadis™ customer services on show at Distripress

mnadis™ is a packaged software solution designed to handle all aspects of the circulation and distribution of newspapers and magazines. The system was designed and is supported by Open Projects.

We have demonstrated the mnadis™ system at a number of trade exhibitions this year. The latest of these was the 48th Distripress Congress, which was held at the RDS in Dublin from September 15th to 18th. The Distripress Congress and Exhibition is an annual event and brings together circulation executives from major companies around the world.

We used Distripress to announce our latest optional enhancement to mnadis™ , called mnadis™ customer services or mcs for short. mcs is a hosted website and allows a wholesaler or distributor to provide a wide range of customer services to their retail customers over the internet.

mcs may be configured to act as a 'front-end' to a mnadis™ distribution system or indeed any other circulation/distribution system.

Retailers accessing mcs over the Internet are able to perform the following functions:

• Interrogate the full range of newspaper and magazine titles available, using title name, barcode or interest group
• See details of future and past issues of the titles
• See the full list of orders currently placed on the wholesaler/distributor
• Enter requests to change the order level of any title
• Access past net sales history by issue
• View latest deliveries
• View all recent customer documents (delivery notes, invoices, recall notes etc.)
