Open Projects' golf triumph

May 12, 2006

Open Projects was proud to support the inaugural Adrian Johnson Memorial Trust charity golf tournament by entering its own team.

The charity was set up in 2005 to raise money for children of the victims of terrorism following the tragic death of London Tube bombing victim Adrian Johnson.

A well attended event saw over 80 golfers take to the course in pursuit of the handcrafted 'Rose' trophy.

However, not only did the Open Projects team claim top prize, but one of its members Garry Shutler won the individual prize posting a stableford score of 42.

Team captain Anthony Mee said: "It has been a priviledge to be part of a great day and contribute to a magnificent charity."

The day was rounded off with an auction and evening event.
